Sarah Long, Assoc. IIDA

Sarah Long has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design and marketing. Sarah is currently working at SMMA as an Associate and Interior Designer. Sarah'sresponsibilities include participating in programming, schematic design, and design development for corporate office spaces. Prior to that, they worked as an Interior Designer at Bergmeyer where they were involved in programming, schematic design, and design development for corporate office spaces and luxury multi-unit residential facilities. Before Bergmeyer, Sarah worked as an Interior Designer at SMMA, where they participated in programming, schematic design, and design development for corporate office spaces and luxury multi-unit residential amenity facilities. Additionally, they have experience working as a Thesis Design Studio Instructor at the Boston Architectural College, where they led and advised students in their thesis projects. Sarah also has marketing experience from their time at The Hartford, where they worked as an eBusiness Senior Marketing Consultant and intern, and at Pier 1 Imports as an Assistant Manager. Sarah also served various roles at IIDA New England, including Communications Committee Chair and Vice President of Communications. Sarah's skills include field verification, creation of models, attending and facilitating project team meetings, and managing relationships with clients and vendors.

Sarah Long, Assoc. IIDA obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Interior Architecture from Suffolk University, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their master's degree, they also pursued studies at the Suffolk University Madrid Campus in 2012. Prior to their master's degree, Sarah completed their undergraduate education at the University of Connecticut School of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Sarah majored in Marketing and minored in English, attending from 2004 to 2007. Before their time at the University of Connecticut, Sarah briefly attended Assumption University in 2003. Sarah'searlier education includes attending Simsbury High School from 1999 to 2003.
