Matteo Riva

Matteo Riva has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Matteo began their career at Lund University in 2009 as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they worked until 2013. During their time at Lund University, Matteo held two postdoctoral positions, showcasing their commitment and expertise in the field.

In 2013, Matteo moved on to Active Biotech, where they worked as a Research Scientist for a period of two years. This experience allowed him to further develop their skills and knowledge in scientific research.

In 2015, Matteo joined Truly Translational Sweden AB/Truly Labs as a Senior Research Scientist. After a year in this role, they were promoted to Head of In Vitro Biology at Truly Labs in 2016. This demonstrates their ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility and leadership within a company.

In 2018, Matteo made another career move and joined Symphogen as a Scientist. Matteo contributed to the company in this role until 2021 when they were promoted to a Senior Scientist position, highlighting their dedication and advancement in the scientific field.

Matteo Riva's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca. Matteo pursued a Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General and completed their studies in 2004. Following this, Matteo continued their education at the same institution and pursued a PhD in Biochemistry from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Matteo has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they completed an Animal Handling Course at Lund University. Matteo also undertook a Radioactivity Handling Course in 2013, which was conducted by Lund University and Active Biotech. Furthermore, in 2015, they obtained a certification in Kinetics and Affinity using Biacore Level I and II from Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst. Additionally, Matteo completed the SFI - Swedish For Immigrants course at Komvux in the year 2015. Most recently, in March 2022, they completed the Project Management Course - Module 1 offered by Mannaz | Kurser, uddannelser og konsulentydelser.
