Sanjeeviny Tharmarajah

Sanjeeviny Tharmarajah's work experience includes their most recent role as a Scientist at Symphogen, where they served as a DS leader and was responsible for the development of project-specific downstream procedures suitable for GMP manufacture. Sanjeeviny also provided scientific oversight of manufacturing activities outsourced to external partners and assisted in the design and development of a downstream platform for efficient industrial manufacturing processes. Additionally, Sanjeeviny was involved in viral safety and clearance evaluation, purification of proteins, establishment of relevant procedures within the downstream area, scientific management and oversight of downstream technician work, project management, and document management.

Prior to their role at Symphogen, Sanjeeviny worked at BluSense Diagnostics ApS as an R&D Biochemist, where they were involved in biochemical processes and testing for the development of IVD products. Sanjeeviny also had a trainee position at BluSense Diagnostics ApS, where they supported document review and update and assisted in biochemical processes and testing.

Sanjeeviny also gained experience as a QA Intern at Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Denmark, where they were involved in GMP and GLP, audit inspection, evaluation of suppliers, and document management related to the manufacturing and QA department.

Sanjeeviny also served as a Master Thesis Student at SSI Diagnostica and completed a Bachelor Thesis at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Additionally, Sanjeeviny worked as an Assistant Sales at IKEA Group.

Sanjeeviny Tharmarajah began their education in 2009 at Svendborg Erhversskole (HTX), where they pursued Chemistry A & Biology B as a high school student. Sanjeeviny then went on to enroll at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Human Life Science Engineering from 2012 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at DTU and obtained a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Sanjeeviny Tharmarajah has obtained various certifications. In June 2019, they received certifications in Risk Management ISO 14971 and ISO 13485:2016 from Pharma4ever A/S. Sanjeeviny also completed an Introduction to Measurement and Calibration program through workplace training in February 2019. In June 2022, they obtained a certification in Downstream Bioprocess Development - DEV2, and in March 2023, they completed Project Management Module 1 offered by Mannaz | Kurser, uddannelser og konsulentydelser.
