Simon Bushell

Simon Bushell is the founder and CEO of Sympower, a company that provides clean energy solutions. Prior to starting Sympower, Simon worked as an energy analyst for Ameresco, where they were involved in engineering design, technical and economic modelling, report writing, and analysis of tenders for energy efficiency, combined heat & power (CHP), biomass, and energy storage projects for industrial clients around the UK and Europe.

Before Ameresco, Simon was a researcher at Imperial College London, where they conducted research on how to improve communication around climate change and facilitate action on the issue through the use of strategic narratives. Additionally, they supervised MSc students and led workshops on developing narratives.

Simon's experience also includes working as a sales assistant for NUCO Travel and as a tutor and intern for Value Partners.

Simon Bushell has a BA & MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London. Simon also attended the Royal Latin School.
