Bill Homan

Bill Homan possesses extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a career spanning over three decades in various technical roles. Currently, Bill is employed at Synack, Inc. since April 2019, focusing on the development of Go APIs and services within AWS and GCP clouds for resource management in penetration testing platforms. Prior to this, Bill contributed to Opera from March 2013 to March 2019, where design and development of C++ cloud services for the Rocket Optimizer platform were primary responsibilities, alongside data analytics using Python. Bill's earlier roles include senior software engineering positions at Interactive Data Corp, specializing in high-volume C++ multi-threaded services for financial data, as well as independent consulting at TransFix Software, Inc. Bill began the career at Innovative Interfaces, Inc. as a Database Software Engineer, working on UNIX database systems. Bill holds an AA degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland and an AA in Computer Technology from Merritt Community College, with additional education from the US Navy.
