Renaud Feil is the founder and president of Synacktiv, a French information security company. Renaud has over 15 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, having worked as a consultant, auditor, and penetration tester for various organizations.
Feil began their career in 2004 as a member of the IT security team at intrinsec, a French information security consultancy. Renaud then spent two years at Ernst&Young as an IT security auditor before moving to HSC, where they worked as an IT security consultant for eight months. In 2007, Feil joined KPMG as a senior advisor.
In 2009, Feil left KPMG to join stratsec, a subsidiary of BAE Systems, where they worked as a principal consultant for three years. Renaud was responsible for conducting penetration tests, code reviews, and forensic investigations for various organizations, including a major Australian bank and several governmental or publicly-listed organizations.
In 2012, Feil left stratsec to start their own company, Synacktiv. Synacktiv specializes in offensive security services such as penetration testing and red teaming. The company has worked with clients such as Airbus, Renault, and the European Commission.
Renaud Feil has a Mastère Spécialisé in Information Systems and Network Security from Télécom Paris, a Master in financial auditing and accounting from ESCP Europe, and a degree from Kleber.
