Mohamed Abu El Hamayed

Mohamed Abu El Hamayed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Mohamed started their career as a Structural Engineer at Dar El Omara Consultancy Office in 2017, where they were responsible for designing and analyzing steel structures, overseeing projects, and preparing accurate drawings and designs.

In 2021, Mohamed worked as an Artificial Intelligence Intern at RDI, gaining valuable experience in AI technologies.

Mohamed then pursued opportunities in the field of AI, serving as a Computer Vision Intern at Synapse Analytics in 2022, where they gained practical experience in computer vision.

Later in 2022, Mohamed joined egabi Solutions as an AI Pre-Sales Engineer. In this role, they worked closely with clients, gathering and analyzing their requirements, participating in solution technical write-ups, and developing and delivering proof of concepts.

In the same year, they also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Upwork, where they developed machine and deep learning models according to specific requirements and was responsible for problem-solving, debugging, and implementing code fixes.

Currently, Mohamed is a Data Scientist at Synapse Analytics, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Mohamed has remained updated and knowledgeable about changes and developments in AI technologies and tools. Mohamed has demonstrated problem-solving skills, expertise in developing AI models, and a strong commitment to staying at the forefront of the field.

Mohamed Abu El Hamayed obtained a Diploma of Education in Artificial Intelligence from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Engineering from Ain Shams University between 2012 and 2017. In 2017, they attended The American University in Cairo for a Project Management Program (PRMG). Before entering university, Mohamed completed their General Certificate of Secondary Education at Sayeda Aisha Language School from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Mohamed has acquired various certifications. Mohamed became an AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty through Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021. Mohamed also completed the Data Scientist with Python Track certification from DataCamp in October 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in 30 Days of Machine Learning from Kaggle in September 2021, Cloud Practitioner Essentials from AWS in September 2021, and Statistics Fundamentals with Python Track and Python Fundamentals Track from DataCamp in July 2021 and May 2021, respectively. Lastly, they are set to complete the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in October 2022.
