Geoff Knight

Geoff Knight is an accomplished professional in the fields of virtual production, entertainment lighting, and technical project management. As Co-Founder and CTO of Synapse Virtual Production since January 2023, Geoff leads a team of industry experts in providing virtual production services. As the Owner/CEO of Knight Lighting, Inc. since 2014, Geoff oversees a range of consulting services including international production management and technical direction. Geoff possesses extensive experience in set lighting with IATSE Local 728 and has held key roles in notable companies such as Madison Square Garden Entertainment as Director of Physical Production, and Riot Games, where significant contributions were made as a gaffer on major esports events. Additional experience includes production roles at Blizzard Entertainment and De Tune Company, demonstrating a strong background in live event production and project management across various sectors of the motion picture and event industry. Geoff holds an education from Full Sail University, where studies were completed between 2004 and 2005.
