David R.

David R. has extensive work experience in the field of embedded engineering. David most recently worked at Synchron as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Embedded Engineer at StrongArm Tech, where they designed and developed firmware applications and wrote drivers for IMUs. David also created and maintained development tools and testing programs to improve firmware development time. Before that, they worked as an Embedded Engineer at Penteon and Embedded Adventures, where they focused on writing Arduino libraries and firmware for various products.

In addition to their engineering roles, David R. was also active in extracurricular activities. David co-founded the Martial Arts Association at Stony Brook University and served as the President. David was responsible for leading practices and teaching martial arts. David also gained experience as a Production Assistant at Fête NY, assisting with event production and set-up.

Earlier in their career, David R. held positions as a Food Server at the Faculty Student Association at Stony Brook, a SHSAT Tutor at the Greater Chinatown Community Association, a Team Member at Pinkberry Ventures, Inc., and a Stock Associate at Roth International.

Overall, David R. has a strong background in embedded engineering and a range of other experiences in leadership, event production, and customer service.

David R. attended Stuyvesant High School from 2008 to 2011. David did not obtain a degree or have a specific field of study during their time there. Later, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University from 2011 to 2015.
