Ram Iyer

Ram Iyer has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Ram currently works at Synchronoss Technologies as a Director of Engineering, Analytics, leading the platform engineering efforts to drive design and architectural changes. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Engineering Manager - Data Engineering & Analytics at Synchronoss, where they led the IOT product engineering for the Smart Building Intelligence suite, focusing on cloud-based analytics and facilities optimization.

Before joining Synchronoss, Ram worked at Cognizant as a Senior Project Manager, where they served as a Big data consultant and technical architect for customers in various domains. Ram led a large team to migrate the Enterprise Data warehouse to Big data platform for an Energy & Utilities customer and designed and architected data pipelines for a retail customer's next generation analytics platform. Ram also worked as a Manager - EIM Big Data at Cognizant, and during this role, they focused on managing big data projects.

Ram has also worked at American Express as a Technical Lead, where they designed and developed backend Java spring applications for a digital recommendation engine. Earlier in their career, they worked at Infosys as a Technical Lead and at PepsiCo as a Supply Chain Analyst and Oracle Financials Reporting Baseline Analyst.

Ram Iyer obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University (RAIT) from 1999 to 2003. In addition, they received a certification in CCDH-410 from Cloudera in 2014.
