Ali Akbar

Ali Akbar is an experienced executive with a strong background in product management and technology consulting. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Synchrony since May 2019, Ali is responsible for driving product strategy and execution for the health and wellness CareCredit Provider experience. Prior to Synchrony, Ali co-founded and led Brightforce, Inc. as CEO, and held key positions in various organizations, including Practice Director at Simplus ANZ, Director of IT Operations at The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Director of Product Management at DXC Technology. Ali's earlier career includes roles at BearingPoint, NIIT, Capgemini, T-Systems, and Samsung Electronics, showcasing a diverse expertise ranging from CRM solutions to digital media business management. Education includes an Advanced Project Management degree from Stanford University and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Pondicherry University.
