Simmy Xavier

Simmy Xavier has extensive experience in technology and operations within the engineering and cloud services sectors. Currently serving as VP of Reliability Engineering and Cloud Ops Leader at Synchrony since April 2017, Simmy has held multiple senior roles including VP and AVP of Cloud Platform. Prior to Synchrony, Simmy spent over 12 years at Microland Limited, progressing through various leadership positions focused on technology and project management. Key responsibilities included leading virtualization operations, managing telecom operations, and directing a team responsible for solution architecture. Simmy started their career at GECIS IT Services and Microtech-Tel, gaining valuable experience in network engineering and support. Educational accomplishments include an Executive Education Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and an Advanced Diploma in Management from The ICFAI University.
