Wendy Fleishman

Wendy Fleishman is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Wendy currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Synchrony, where responsibilities include the strategic direction and execution of the Compliance Program, managing compliance risks, and promoting a compliant culture. Previously, Wendy held the position of Senior Vice President, Platform Compliance Leader for Payment Solutions and CareCredit at Synchrony, advising senior leaders on risk management and legal compliance. Prior to Synchrony, Wendy served as Vice President and Fair and Responsible Banking Officer at Discover Financial Services, overseeing legal compliance, risk assessment, and monitoring. Wendy's career began as a Law Clerk for the United States Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, followed by a role as a Litigation Associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Wendy holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in American Studies from Amherst College.
