Jess Clement

Jess Clement has extensive work experience in the field of oncology. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Medical Director at Syndax Pharmaceuticals, a role they began in September 2023. Prior to joining Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Jess worked at Hartford HealthCare, where they held two positions simultaneously. From March 2019 to February 2022, Jess served as the Medical Director for Cancer Clinical Research, and from March 2019 onwards, they also served as a Genitourinary Medical Oncologist. Before joining Hartford HealthCare, Jess worked at Surface Oncology Inc. as the Medical Director for Clinical Development from January 2022 to September 2023. Prior to that, they held academic positions at UConn Health, serving as an Associate Professor from September 2018 to February 2019, and as an Assistant Professor from August 2010 to September 2018. Jess's career started at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they completed their Hematology-Oncology Fellowship from July 2006 to June 2009.

Jess Clement received a BS degree in Biology, General from Union College. They then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1998 to 2002. Later, Jess attended Capital University Law School, specializing in Life Care Planning and receiving a CLCP degree from 2015 to 2016.
