Connor Cross has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Connor started their career as a Staffing Coordinator at Syndeo in February 2009 and then worked as a Human Resources Generalist from February 2010 to May 2012. Connor later became an HR Business Partner from May 2012 to June 2016, responsible for providing HR services to clients. From June 2016 to July 2019, they served as a Senior HR Business Partner at the same company, where they also acted as a backup to the Vice President of Human Resources. From July 2019 to August 2023, Connor worked as the Director of Human Resources at Syndeo, leading the organization's HR function and implementing cultural initiatives. In 2022, they joined the Kansas Department of Labor and currently holds a position on the Employment Security Board of Review. In addition, they served as a Public Affairs Specialist in the United States Air Force from March 2004 to December 2010, where they handled various communication activities including writing, editing, and publishing.
Connor Cross earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in HR from Baker University, which they attended from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Park University, where they studied from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Connor also obtained a certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional from the SHRM institution in February 2016.
