Gary M. Skinner

Gary M. Skinner is a seasoned Principal Scientist currently at Syndex Bio since August 2022, with a diverse background in life sciences consulting and research. Previous roles include Consultancy at TTP plc, a brief volunteer position with NHS England focused on 3D printing PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic, and significant positions at Evonetix Ltd and Illumina where Gary M. held titles of Principal Scientist and Staff Scientist, respectively. Prior to these roles, Gary made contributions as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Delft University of Technology and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Arizona, with research focused on nanopore development and RNA studies. Gary began academic training with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of York, complemented by A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from Alton 6th Form College, and foundational education at Bedales School.
