Sergii Kolodych has a diverse work experience in both academic and industry settings. Sergii co-founded and served as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Syndivia, where they played a crucial role in designing and implementing translational research programs. Sergii successfully managed internal and external R&D efforts, identified optimal IP strategies, and led technology transfer to partners and CMOs. Sergii also managed the R&D budget and achieved success in developing and out-licensing an antibody-drug conjugate currently in phase I/IIa clinical trial, as well as a targeted small molecule for the treatment of K-Ras mutant malignances. Additionally, they established strong collaborations with academic and industrial partners, resulting in multiple patent applications and scientific publications. Before Syndivia, they worked as a Research Associate at the Laboratory of Functional Chemo-Systems, University of Strasbourg, and as a European Union Early Stage Researcher at the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission. Sergii started their career as a Synthetic Organic Chemist at Enamine Ltd.
Sergii Kolodych has a strong educational background in chemistry. Sergii obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 2009 to 2010. Building on their previous education, Sergii then completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, Sergii expanded their educational pursuits by enrolling at HEC Paris, where they focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies for the year.
