Stephen Avann

Stephen Avann has extensive experience in continuity and risk management, currently serving as the Continuity and Risk Manager at Synectics Solutions since October 1999. Over the years, Stephen's roles have evolved, focusing primarily on Business Continuity and Risk Management, with previous positions including Infrastructure & Service Continuity Manager and IT Infrastructure and Service Continuity Team Leader. Stephen’s career at Synectics Solutions began as a Data Centre Services Deputy Manager and progressed from an IT Services Server and Network Technician, emphasizing data centre infrastructure, server management, and network support. Prior to joining Synectics Solutions, Stephen worked in Quality Control at Omega Computers, overseeing the quality of desktop PC assembly. Stephen holds an LLB (Hons) and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Staffordshire.
