Joel Bokelman

Joel Bokelman is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in automation, process improvement, and project management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Automation Engineering/Analytics at Synergi since February 2021, Joel has also held roles as a Developer, Automation Engineer, and Process Engineer. Prior to Synergi, Joel worked at Darling Fibers as an Area Team Leader, where leadership of a team and initiation of quality initiatives were key responsibilities. Joel's earlier career includes project management at GBA Ships e.V., successfully directing ship logistics and cost reductions, and an engineering co-op at GE Healthcare focusing on tooling management and lean methodologies. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
