Maurice Virgini

Maurice Virgini is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in improving production efficiency and implementing Lean management principles across various companies. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Synova SA since November 2022, Maurice oversees all operational activities, including assembly, quality control, and project management. Previously, as Transformation System Manager at SYNLAB Suisse SA, performance improvements in laboratories for the Romandy region and Ticino were achieved. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Maurice held multiple leadership roles, including Value Stream Manager and Production & Manufacturing Engineering Manager Sr, where contributions led to substantial operational enhancements and earned the Swiss Industrial Excellence Award in 2015. Early career experience includes positions at Fisons and Applied Research Laboratories, where expertise in Lean Management, production optimization, and quality engineering was developed. Maurice holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the Haute école du paysage, d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Genève (HEPIA).
