Chris B. has over 20 years of work experience in finance and management roles. Chris is currently the Head of Finance - Hospitals at SYNLAB UK & Ireland, where they oversee the financial performance of the hospitals. Prior to this, they worked as the Finance & Support Services Manager at CPP Facilities LLP, responsible for the financial performance, governance, and supply chain management of the pathology services joint venture. Before that, Chris was the Finance Manager at The Christie Pathology Partnership LLP, where they handled financial management responsibilities. Chris also served as a Finance Manager at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, where they managed budgeting, forecasting, and funding approval for clinical and academic studies. Earlier in their career, Chris worked as a Commercial Finance Manager at Assurant Solutions, Europe, an Asset Balance Sheet Manager at The Co-operative Banking Group, and a Finance Business Partner at Co-operative Banking Group. Chris started their career as a Merchandise Accountant at JD Williams, and prior to that, they worked as a Regional Manager at Milestone Licensed Trade Accountants, providing accountancy services to franchisees. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

Chris B. attended St Ambrose Grammar School and 6th Form College (Hale Barns) from 1990 to 1997. During this time, they studied subjects such as Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. From 2005 to 2010, Chris attended BPP Finance College Manchester, where they obtained a degree in Management Accountancy, specifically a CIMA qualification.
