Sankha Subhra Sarkar

Sankha Subhra Sarkar is an accomplished lead R&D engineer and engineering manager at Synopsys Inc, where the focus is on developing scalable solutions to identify software product defects through machine learning. Previously, Sankha spent nearly a decade at Intel Corporation as a senior software engineer, optimizing data-parallel software workloads and enhancing next generation process technology. Earlier experience includes serving as a post-doctoral researcher at IBM Zurich Research Lab, concentrating on machine learning techniques for optical lithography challenges in microprocessor fabrication. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics with a specialization in Nanotechnology and Lithography from ETH Zürich, an MS in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science, and a BSc in Physics (Major), Chemistry, and Maths from Jadavpur University.
