Sujit Kankanwadi

Sujit Kankanwadi is the SVP, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Synopsys. Prior to joining Synopsys, Sujit spent 13 years at KPMG in various roles, most recently as Sr Manager. Sujit started their career at KPMG in 1991 as a staff accountant and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an assistant manager and then a senior manager. Under Sujit's leadership, the finance team at Synopsys has helped the company navigate through some challenging times and emerge as a stronger company.

Sujit Kankanwadi is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has worked in the fields of accounting, auditing, and finance. Sujit attended the AICPA, or American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, for their education. Sujit is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from A S P College of Commerce in Bijapur. Lastly, they have completed their Grade XII education from P D J Junior College and their Grade X education from Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala.

Their manager is Aart de Geus, Chairman & co-CEO. They work with Sassine Ghazi - COO, Trac Pham - CFO, and Alessandra Costa - SVP, Customer Success Group.
