John Creech

John Creech is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in credit risk management and banking. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Wholesale Credit Risk Management at Synovus since August 2023, prior roles include Chief Credit Officer at Equity Bank from December 2021 to August 2023, and various senior positions at Synovus between 2008 and 2021, including Chief Credit Policy and Administration Officer and President of Broadway Asset Management. John Creech has also held leadership roles at Wynnton Group as Chief Operating and Financial Officer and various vice president positions at Columbus Bank & Trust Company between 1994 and 1999. John Creech holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from The Citadel, earned in 1989.
