Darren Bak

Darren Bak has a diverse work experience, starting as a Principle Consultant at IQ Business from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they worked on various projects in the investment and retail banking sectors for clients such as ABSA, Barclays Capital, and FNB. Darren also worked as a Senior Project Manager at FNB South Africa from 2011 to 2014, where they managed strategic projects and ensured their successful execution. Following this, they took on roles as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager at Adept Advisory contracted to Nedbank from 2014 to 2016, where they focused on regulatory compliance and project management for anti-money laundering and counter-financing terrorism initiatives. Currently, Darren is working at Synthesis Software Technologies as the Head of Intelligent Data since March 2020, leading the company's intelligent data efforts.

Darren Bak has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (2003-2005). Darren also obtained a Bachelor of Sciences with Honours in Physiology from Wits Medical School in 2006. In 2007, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, Business Administration from Wits Business School. Additionally, they earned a Diploma in Business Analysis from the International Institute of Business Analysis in 2011.
