Igor Knufman

Site Project & Safety Coordinator / Autocad Designer at Synthetic Genomics

Igor Knufman has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Igor started their career at E.G.&G. Gamma Scientific in 1977, where they served as a Senior Buyer and Engineering Liaison. In this role, they managed the company's purchasing needs and acted as a point of contact between different departments and the Engineering team.

Following this, Igor worked at C.P. Kelco from 1990 to 2013. Here, they held the position of Engineering Designer and Contractor Field Coordinator. Igor was responsible for creating drawings for equipment and piping installations, ensuring safety and ergonomic standards were met. As a Field Coordinator, they ensured that contractors adhered to safety protocols and had the necessary permits.

In 2014, Igor joined Synthetic Genomics as a Site Project & Safety Coordinator and Autocad Designer. Igor focused on preventing accidents and ensuring the safety of employees and contractors. Igor also contributed to the design of mechanical, piping, and structural elements for maintenance and production.

Most recently, Igor joined Complete Property Improvements in 2015 as a Project Manager. Further details about their responsibilities are not provided.

Igor Knufman completed their Bachelor's degree in Drafting & Machine Shop Technologies from San Diego State University, spanning from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from San Diego University High School, graduating between 1973 and 1977. In addition to their formal education, Igor Knufman obtained the ANSI A92.5 AWP Operator - Boom Lift certification from Sunbelt Rentals in March 2012.
