Ryota Mizushima

Research Engineer at SyntheticGestalt

Ryota Mizushima has worked in various roles since 2013. Ryota started as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Protein Research, Osaka University in 2013, then moved to a Postdoctoral Researcher at RIKEN QBiC in 2014. In 2018, they became an Assistant Professor at Tokyo Medical University. In 2019, they joined FRONTEO, Inc. as a Researcher, working on a project to develop AI diagnosis on dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) by analyzing the free conversation between patients and doctors with natural language processing and machine learning methods. In 2021, they became an AI Engineer at HEROZ, inc. and in 2022, they are currently a Research Engineer at SyntheticGestalt.

Ryota Mizushima studied at The University of Tokyo from an unknown start year until 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor in Physics and Biology. Ryota then continued their studies at Osaka University from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics.
