Aviv Braunstein

Aviv Braunstein has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Aviv currently serves as the CH Country Head & Business Development Manager at Syntio.net, where they are responsible for developing and managing accounts, partners, and new business in Switzerland. Aviv has expertise in software and data engineering, with a focus on digitalization migrations to the cloud and transforming legacy systems into modern architectures.

Prior to their current position, Aviv was the Head PreSales & Consulting Services at SOWATEC AG from September 2021 to August 2022. Aviv also worked as a Business Development Advisor at Syntio.net from January 2021 to August 2021, where they specialized in innovative data engineering and creating efficient data-driven software for leading organizations.

Aviv's previous experience includes working as a Management, Strategy, Business Development, Digitalization, and Innovation Consultant at AB Solutions AG CH from April 2020 to January 2021. Aviv also held the role of Lead Pre-Sales, Innovation & Business Development-Partners, Financial Messaging & Services at Finastra from July 2017 to March 2020.

Prior to that, Aviv worked at D+H as a Senior Project & Delivery Manager and Global PreSales Head Financial Messaging from October 2015 to July 2017. Aviv also served as the Global Pre-Sales Head and Senior Project Manager at BBP AG, a FundTech Company, from January 2015 to October 2015.

Aviv's career also includes working as an Independent Management and IT Consultant, where they provided consulting and advisory services to financial software vendors and service providers. Aviv also worked with financial institutions, offering expertise in IT organization structuring & governance, application services, outsourcing, IT enterprise architecture, recruitment, and software evaluation.

In addition to their professional experience, Aviv took a break in 2013 to focus on being a new father. Aviv has also worked at Credit Suisse, where they held various roles in project management, front office IT, wealth management, and application architecture & development. Aviv has knowledge and skills in application development, management, and support, with expertise in financial messaging and networks such as Swift, SIC, SEPA, and more.

Aviv Braunstein started their education journey in 1985 at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they pursued an Engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering. Aviv completed this program in 1987. In 1996, Aviv enrolled in the Technological College in Nesher, Israel, for an Academic Conversion Program in C and C++, which led to him being registered as a programmer in those languages by the Israeli Labor Ministry in 1997.

In 1997, Aviv began pursuing undergraduate studies for a B.A. in computer science at the Open University in Tel-Aviv, Israel. However, it is not specified if they completed the degree program or received a degree. The following year, in 1998, they undertook a brief course in Software Design and Software Development at Hacker Software in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Aviv's education continued in 2004 when they joined the Credit Suisse Business School. Over the course of eight years until 2012, they completed various management and project management courses. Finally, in the early years of their education, from 1983 to 1985, Aviv attended the Bosmat Technological College located at Technion, Haifa, Israel. During this period, they obtained a degree as an Electricity Technician, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
