Matthijs Bakker

Matthijs Bakker currently serves as the Chair and CEO on the Board of Directors at Syntraal, an organization focused on individual talent within the physical living environment, since October 2018. Prior to this role, Matthijs held various positions at Tauw BV from September 2005 to October 2018, including Execution Supervisor, Project Leader, and Team Manager, leading significant projects within the organization. Matthijs also has experience working as a Supervisor/Director for the Municipality of Apeldoorn through Tauw from October 2007 to May 2011, contributing to several urban development initiatives. Additionally, Matthijs was the chairman of the autoclub cf-tuning from 2005 to March 2010, fostering community engagement among car enthusiasts. Early career experience includes a role in the hospitality sector at Apenheul from September 2001 to September 2005, where Matthijs progressed to supervising a team of temporary staff. Education includes studies at NCOI University of Applied Sciences and Rijn & IJssel College.
