Babak Zarrin Rafie

Babak Zarrin Rafie has extensive experience in RF design and engineering. Babak started their career in 1993 at the Iran Telecommunication Research Centre, where they designed and implemented low noise amplifiers and power amplifiers for line of sight radio relays. Babak also authored a technical report on SDH radio relay design feasibility. Babak then worked at Informatics Services Corporation as an RF Design Engineer from 2000 to 2005 before joining EPM Global Services as an RF Design Engineer from 2005 to 2010. Babak continued their career at Nokia, initially as an RF System Engineer from 2010 to 2016, and later as an RF Hardware Engineer from 2016 to 2017. From 2018 to 2021, Babak worked at Jabil as an RF Hardware Architect. Currently, they are employed at Syntronic - A Global Design House, where they hold the position of RF Hardware Systems Architect and Director of Strategic Engineering.

Babak Zarrin Rafie obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Tehran between the years 1989 and 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sharif University of Technology from 1994 to 1996.

In terms of additional certifications, Babak Zarrin Rafie obtained the designation of P. Eng. (Professional Engineer) from Professional Engineers Ontario in April 2008.
