Tarun Ravindran

Tarun Ravindran has a long history of working in the technology industry. Tarun began their career in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer at Wipro Technologies. In 2004, they moved to Force10 Networks (previously Turin Networks) as an Engineering Lead where they built an 8-member test & validation team in 4 months from ground-up. In 2006, they joined Ikanos Communications as a Customer Manager and was responsible for managing post-delivery customer hand-off, release management, and feature roadmap development based on customer requirements. In 2008, they advanced to Senior Business Development Manager at Tech Mahindra and was responsible for developing and maintaining customer engagement strategy and execution. In 2010, they became Key Account Director at Siemens Convergence Creators Holding GmbH where they managed multi-million$ APAC sales with focus on large accounts for Siemens' software products & services for Hi-Tech industries. In 2014, they co-founded OPASIS, a B2B SaaS platform addressing an annual Rs. 200 Cr market. Tarun was responsible for shaping and launching the product, developing market entry models, and customer acquisition. Currently, Tarun Ravindran is the Senior Director of Product Management at Synup.

Tarun Ravindran completed their MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in 2008, where they studied General Management. Tarun obtained their Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum between 1995 and 1999. Tarun has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Design Thinking: Customer Experience and Design Thinking: Understanding the Process in June 2022, Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms in August 2021, Cybersecurity Foundations in June 2021, and Data Visualization for Data Analysis and Analytics in March 2021.
