Hewitt Gu is a seasoned firmware professional currently serving as the Firmware Assistant Manager at Sysgration Ltd. since December 2023, focusing on IoT product development and client interaction. Previously, Hewitt held the position of Staff Firmware Engineer at SMART Modular Technologies from August 2018 to November 2023, where responsibilities included managing PCIe Interface and NVMe protocol while addressing customer issues for clients such as LENOVO and SIEMENS. Earlier experience as Principal Firmware Engineer at Silicon Motion Technology Corp. involved debugging SATA interface issues, alongside a significant role at StorArt as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where algorithm implementation and firmware debugging were key tasks.
