Steven Garcia, MBA

Steven Garcia, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steven is currently serving as the Controller at Systel, Inc. Rugged Computers since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Controller at BPM Microsystems Inc. from April 2018 to April 2019.

From 2012 to 2018, Steven served multiple roles at SubSea 7, including Senior Accountant from October 2014 to March 2018 and Project Accountant from July 2012 to October 2014. In these positions, they provided financial support to multiple US and international projects, prepared financial reports, and analyzed project expenditure figures.

Before joining SubSea 7, Steven worked as a Staff Accountant at BRACHFELD LAW GROUP from April 2011 to July 2012. In this role, they developed and analyzed financial reports, managed deposit transactions, and approved various financial documents.

From 2006 to 2011, Steven worked as an Accountant at Retriever Payment Systems, where they analyzed financial data, prepared financial statements, and identified and developed new accounts.

Steven's earlier experiences include working as a Computer and Math Tech II at the University of Houston - Clear Lake from August 2007 to July 2008, a Legal Analyst and Residuals Analyst at National Processing Company from May 2004 to January 2006, and serving in various roles in the U.S. Army, including Recruiter from March 2003 to May 2004 and Human Resource Specialist from March 2000 to March 2003.

Steven Garcia completed an Executive MBA from the University of Houston from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Houston-Clear Lake between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they earned an Associates degree in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University from 2000 to 2002.
