Dylan Piepenbrok has a strong background in technical art, with experience at various companies in the gaming industry. Dylan started their career at Spooky Ghost Studio in 2013, where they worked as a member until 2015. In 2016, they joined Solstice Group as a Fulfillment Manager. The following year, Dylan began working at Microsoft via Aquent as a Technical Artist, where they created tools in Unity and collaborated with artists and engineers to create and test art assets. In 2018, they joined Mojang Studios/Microsoft as a Technical Artist, where they played a key role in facilitating collaboration between the art and engineering teams. Dylan helped create art pipelines and developed shader technology for accurate representation of skin colors in pixel art textures for the Minecraft Character Creator. In 2022, they worked briefly at Amazon Games as a Technical Artist before joining System Era Softworks in the same position.
Dylan Piepenbrok attended North Seattle College from 2015 to 2017, where they completed an Associate of Science degree. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
