Wendy B.

Wendy B. has a diverse work experience starting from 2005 as a Lifeguard at Killarney Farms Swim Center. Wendy also worked as a Lifeguard at New York University from 2010 to 2012. Wendy then served as a Lead Instructor at iD Tech Camps from 2012 to 2015, teaching various computer skills. Wendy continued their teaching career as a Programming Instructor, working independently from 2012 to 2018. In 2017, Wendy briefly worked as a Help Desk Technician at Bank Street College of Education and as a Lead Instructor at Long Island University. From 2020 to 2021, they held the position of Program Manager at The Coding Space, where they managed coding classes for kids and developed new curriculum. Wendy then pursued a software engineering career, completing a Software Engineering Fellowship at Springboard from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at System Initiative, starting as a Software Engineer from July 2022 and later promoted to Software Engineer II in 2023.
