Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is an experienced audiovisual systems service technician and field engineer currently employed at System Source since July 2015. Johnson has a diverse professional background that includes founding and directing Moloch's Midway, an installation and performance art collective, and serving as a lead media instructor at Wide Angle Youth Media. Previous roles include senior media specialist at the University of Baltimore, assistant professorial lecturer at George Washington University, and teaching positions at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Johnson's early career involved teaching science and nature to elementary-aged children and working in photofinishing and retail sales. Johnson holds a Master’s Degree in Photography and Digital Imaging from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
