Amber Mercier has worked in the interior design industry since 2007. Amber began their career as a Junior Designer at ABE, where they produced furniture layouts and specifications using computerized design software, measured room dimensions to determine where to place furniture, and submitted finish specifications. In 2009, they moved to 1st Project Help Inc. as a CAD Designer, where they prepared design development packages, performed on-site visits for field surveying, and created detailed schematics for manufacturing products and constructing property. In 2010, Amber began working as a Senior Designer at MSI Office Furniture, creating and editing drawings for interior commercial corporate space using AutoCAD, coordinating with the project team to meet code and zoning requirements, and drawing up detailed construction drawings. In 2015, Amber joined Total Corporate Solutions as a Senior Designer/Project Manager, designing via AutoCAD, planning and furnishing interior environments, and rendering design ideas for presentation. In 2016, they moved to Interior Office Solutions as a Project Designer, providing design services to dealership customers, managing client relationships, and researching workplace requirements. Amber is currently employed at Systems Source, Inc. as a Project CAD Designer, where they produce accurate drawings, renderings, space planning, product application, and project schedules.
Amber Mercier attended American InterContinental University from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. Prior to that, they attended Woodbury University from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Business Administration and Management, General.
