Simon Davies ACICM has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Simon started their career in 2013 as an Account Manager at Oriel Collections, where they successfully managed collections of due and overdue accounts and achieved profitability for the company and its clients. Simon also played a key role in supporting the business to achieve full FCA accreditation. In 2016, they joined allpay Limited as a Credit Manager, where they coached and managed a team of Sales Ledger Controllers and Credit Controllers. During their time, they effectively ran the Credit Management function and maximized incoming cash flow while minimizing bad debt risk. In 2018, they worked as a Global Credit Controller at SystemsAccountants, a leading global Finance Systems, Analytics, and Transformation recruitment company. Simon'srole involved sourcing and placing professionals with a hybrid combination of finance/accounting experience and qualifications, blended with technology, project, and change management expertise. Later in 2018, they moved to SANSA as a Global Credit Controller, where they brought a global expertise to the business challenges of the SA Group, deploying bespoke project teams faster than anyone else by utilizing the skills of the world's best NetSuite professionals.

Simon Davies ACICM pursued their education chronologically, starting with their enrollment at Aylestone School in Hereford from 1994 to 1999. Following this, they attended Hereford Sixth Form College from 1999 to 2001. Simon's educational journey culminated with their enrollment at the University of Gloucestershire between 2002 and 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General.

In addition to their academic achievements, Simon obtained a certification in ACICM from the CICM in February 2019.
