Catherine Tran

Catherine Tran has over 10 years of professional experience. Catherine started their career in 2001 as a Financial Account Manager, Front Desk Officer, and Consultant at Gateway Dental, P.C. In 2004, they became President of Extreme Pizza, where they managed all marketing aspects and accounts payable and receivable. In 2007, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sopheon. Catherine then worked as a Software Engineer at Verizon, Inc. from 2011 to 2013, where they designed, developed, tested, and integrated software in an agile, test driven development environment. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Raytheon, where they developed new functional capabilities within software applications to meet customer requirements. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Senior System Engineer at ICR, Inc. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer and Business Development at Xela, and as a Business Development and Principal Software Engineer at SYSTOLIC, Inc.

Catherine Tran completed a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, a Bachelor in Computer Science from Colorado State University, and a Master in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including CompTIA Security+ (SY0-601) Cert Prep, Microservices: Asynchronous Messaging, DevOps Foundations: Microservices, and Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals.
