Francesca Roggia

Francesca Roggia is a Structural Engineer at SYSTRA SWS, specializing in the West Link Project (Västlänken) where responsibilities include the detailed design of various temporary and permanent structures for the Haga Station Project, such as diaphragms, secant piles, and foundation systems. Previously, Francesca completed a master's thesis focused on the numerical analysis of dynamic loads on liquefiable soil at QuakeCoRE in Auckland. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Geotechnical and Infrastructure Engineering from Università di Trento, alongside research experience at The University of Auckland and studies at Universidade do Porto. Active in student representation at Università degli Studi di Trento, Francesca has demonstrated a commitment to both academic achievement and professional growth within the field of civil engineering.
