Director of Products at Syte

Adi Ben-Tsedef has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Starting in 1993, Adi worked in various roles in the technology sector. They began as a Developer and Team Leader in the IDF, 8200 unit, where they were trained in MAMRAM and served for five years. After that, Adi gained experience as a Software Developer at Sungard Decalog, contributing to a solution for managing large investment portfolios.

Moving forward, Adi joined Walla! as a Project Manager, overseeing an e-commerce website. They then transitioned to Trivnet as a Product Manager, leading the development of a mobile wallet platform and collaborating with Telefonica to establish standard methods for mobile payments.

Adi's next role was at eWave as a Marketing Engineer, responsible for consulting and sales processes with various organizations, including large healthcare institutions and start-ups. Following this, Adi worked at Playtech, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, as a Product Manager Team Leader, they managed a team of product managers and system analysts, focusing on financial and marketing products. Later, as a Product Group Manager - Finance and Marketing, they oversaw Playtech's backend product group.

Adi then joined eBay Israel as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for structuring seller data to improve search engine functionality. They utilized machine learning algorithms to better understand what sellers were offering. After eBay, Adi worked at ThetaRay as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on AI-based Big Data analytics for financial organizations to combat financial cybercrimes.

Most recently, Adi joined Nike as a Director of Product Management, leading the Nike Fit product. This product provides size recommendations for Nike shoes based on customer feedback and computer vision and machine learning algorithms.

In 2023, Adi will be joining Syte as the Director of Products.

Adi Ben-Tsedef pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University from 1996 to 1999. Simultaneously, from 1996 to 2000, Adi also completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science at The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. Later, Adi continued their education at Reichman University from 2004 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing.
