Michał Górnik

Michał Górnik is an experienced language professional specializing in translation, interpretation, and education. Currently serving as a teacher-examiner for English and French at Szkoła w Chmurze and a translator, subtitler, and respeaker at Spółdzielnia Słów, Michał also holds a position as a freelance translator, interpreter, and respeaker since 2017. Additional roles include the editor for subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing at TVP Polish Television and a teacher of Polish as a foreign language at italki. Michał's academic involvement includes serving as Secretary of the Enrollment Committee at the Doctoral School of Humanities at Warsaw University and leading the Doctoral Council, showcasing a strong commitment to education and research. Michał continues to advance academic credentials with ongoing doctoral studies in Translation Studies at the University of Antwerp and Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, following a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the same institution.
