Illia Solano Potente is a dedicated sound teaching assistant at NYU Tisch Film & TV, contributing to classroom and post-production technical support since September 2022. With expertise as a certified sound engineer, Illia aids students in ADR and Foley projects. As head of production teaching assistant, responsibilities include assembling syllabi for over 500 students, analyzing departmental trends, and creating educational resources. Illia also mentors undergraduate students in the Film and Television major. Current involvement with the T. Howard Foundation as a mentee complements previous roles, including office assistant at New York University's Center for Student Life and director of business administration at Carlyle Embassy, where community events were developed for over 700 residents. Most recently, an internship at Fitch Group involved producing multimedia content and conducting research on content marketing strategies. Illia is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television at New York University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
