Michael Buchholz

Michael Buchholz is Director Manufacturing at T-knife. He has over 15 years of experience working in the biotechnology industry and brings extensive experience in cell and gene therapy manufacturing as well as relationship management with technology suppliers, contract manufacturers and research organizations. Since 2018, he has been Director Manufacturing at Immutep GmbH, overseeing GMP compliance, recombinant protein production and scale-up activities. In 2016, he joined Cell Medica as Site Head for Cell Medica’s GMP manufacturing facility in Berlin, Germany, with focus on cell therapy manufacturing. In 2012, he served as Project Manager Manufacturing for Prima BioMed as with focus on cell therapy manufacturing at CMOs in the US, Australia and Germany. Michael holds a PhD in regenerative medicine from the University of Bath, UK, and a Diploma in Biochemistry from Free University Berlin, Germany.
