Mikael Weigelt

Mikael Weigelt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data analysis and capacity planning. Currently serving as Director of Business Analysis and Data Science at T-Mobile since June 2009, Mikael leads a team of 50 data engineers and speech analysts, successfully implementing a cloud-based analytics system for over 60,000 users. Previous roles include Manager of Capacity Planning at Amazon.com, where operational efficiency was maximized at 98% capacity, and Senior Engineer at Level 3 Communications, where a comprehensive network optimization model was developed. Mikael also contributed to innovative revenue management solutions at PROS Pricing and managed significant projects at Bertelsmann. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Operations Management and an MBA in Marketing from UW Foster School of Business, alongside a Master's in Statistics from the University of Washington and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
