Andrew Smith has a diverse work experience. Andrew started their career as a Business Analyst at Capital One from July 2012 to June 2015. Andrew then moved on to become a Senior Business Analyst at the same company from August 2013 to June 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Stanford Energy Policy Fellow at the California Department of Water Resources for a brief period of three months. The following year, they served as a Summer Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from June 2017 to August 2017. From August 2018 to July 2020, Andrew held the position of a Consultant at BCG, before being promoted to Project Leader from August 2020 to December 2020. Andrew then continued their progression in the company as a Project Leader from January 2021 to August 2022, at which point they were promoted to Principal until October 2023. Finally, Andrew joined TYLin in October 2023 as an Associate Vice President, in charge of Strategy and Corporate Development.
Andrew Smith completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from NYU Stern School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 2015-2016. Their undergraduate studies were at Cornell University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from 2008 to 2012. In addition, they also received an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from NCEES in 2012.
