Daniel Finan

Daniel Finan is a seasoned expert in product development and research within the field of diabetes care. Currently serving as Director of Product Development and Data at T1D Exchange since September 2020, Daniel previously held the position of Research Director at JDRF International, where leadership was demonstrated in artificial pancreas and metabolic control research programs. With a strong foundation in algorithm science from a role as Senior Principal Algorithm Scientist at Animas Corporation, Daniel contributed significantly to clinical studies and data analysis for glucose control systems. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Technical University of Denmark.
