Brett Giffin

Brett Giffin has served as the Chief Commercial Officer since November 2021. He brings a wealth of industry experience and commercial leadership to T2 Biosystems, having served as Chief Executive Officer for two early-stage medical technology companies, as Chief Commercial Officer at Accriva Diagnostics (formerly ITC Medical), and in several sales and marketing leadership roles at Datascope, Covidien, Boston Scientific, and Johnson & Johnson. He began his career as a U.S. Army officer, serving in Panama and Central America.

Mr. Giffin is a Distinguished Military Graduate of the College of William & Mary and received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Christopher Newport University and a Master’s in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
