Chris J. has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2003 when they served as a Naval Officer (Surface & Expeditionary Warfare) in the US Navy. In 2005, they became the Owner/Operator of Ribbon Gifts, a business-to-business and business-to-government gift and incentive product line. From 2008 to 2012, they were a Military Analyst/Senior Trainer for ITA International, LLC, providing direct onsite leadership, guidance and instruction for a US Navy client. In 2012, they joined CACI International Inc as a Business Developer/Process Engineer, leading software design & development teams and providing up to 1000% efficiency improvement in clients' business processes. In 2015, they became the Capture Manager for Cape Henry Associates, Inc, leading efforts to standardize, improve the efficiency of, and streamline capture and proposal processes. In 2016, they joined InnovaSystems International, LLC as Business Development Lead (East Coast), supporting US Navy customers and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. In 2020, they became the Security Cooperation & Innovation Chief for a Security Cooperation & Tech Innovation Firm. Most recently, in 2023, they joined T3W Business Solutions, Inc. as Business Development/SBIR & Non-Traditional Contracting Lead.

Chris J. attended The Langley School from 1984 to 1995. Chris then went to Landon School from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their High School degree. Afterwards, they attended Tufts University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a BA in Public Relations & Communications of Leadership. In 2013, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from PMI.
