Sean Slade

Sean Slade is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Head of BTS Spark in North America, focusing on developing new generations of education and not-for-profit leaders. Slade is an Advisory Board member for Canadians for 21st Century Learning and Innovation and a judge for T4 Education's World’s Best School Prize. As an adjunct professor at William & Mary, Slade lectures on Comparative International Education Policy Studies. Participation in various international organizations includes being a founding member of the UNESCO Chair for Global Health and Education and an advisor for the OECD's Future of Education and Skills 2030 project. Previously, as Senior Director at ASCD, Slade expanded advocacy and program initiatives related to child-centered education reform. Education includes a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of South Australia.
